Remy Verhoeven is CFO at Saga, bringing over 15 years of experience in finance, technology, and scaling SaaS businesses. With a background in product and engineering, he co-founded VONQ, where he served as CTO and CPO for nearly a decade before moving into the CFO role. In that capacity, he professionalized finance, led multiple funding rounds, and managed the company’s successful acquisition by a private equity firm.

After VONQ, Remy joined Starapple, where he strengthened financial operations, introduced KPI-driven reporting, and oversaw the company’s acquisition by HeadFirst. His track record spans the full spectrum of growth — from building internal structures to navigating complex transactions.

At Saga, Remy’s focus is on preparing the company for its next phase of growth: shaping capital strategy, aligning operations, and driving fundraising. Alongside Saga, he also supports several other startups as a Fractional CxO, helping them reach their next level of scale. His approach combines financial discipline with entrepreneurial drive, ensuring companies can scale rapidly while keeping the clarity and structure that inspire confidence among clients and investors alike.

Outside of work, Remy lives near Rotterdam with his three children. When he’s not deep into numbers, you’ll likely find him playing ice hockey or on the padel court.
