Future of Law Firms
AI Agents

2031 - The law firm in 5 years time

It's 2031 - AI has changed the legal practice and the legal market completely in the last 5 years. AI-driven legal ecosystems form the backbone of platform-based legal services; AI-agents no longer just assist lawyers, they run entire legal processes autonomously; and the rise of AI-native law firms has eroded the traditional law firm model. Yet AI is not the end of lawyers - the demand for human judgment, trust and guidance has changed but not diminished.

Speakers

Douwe Groenevelt

COO EUCLYD, former head of legal ASML

Atle Carlsen

Managing Partner Braekhus, former strategy consultant and global HR leader at BCG

Matthias Lichtblau

Former Executive Director at CMS International, Executive Partner & COO at WTS, and COO & Director Special Projects Europe at Dentons.

Knut-Magnar Aanestad

Co-founder and Chief Product Officer at Saga

LATAM

The Nordics are leading on AI-adoption in Europe. What can LatAm firms learn from it?

In this informal, candid session, we share what we have seen first-hand: where AI creates real value for lawyers and clients, where it does not (yet), and what separates the firms that succeed from those that stall. We then turn the conversation to Latin America. What is different about the region's legal markets? What do clients expect? How are firms from Mexico City to São Paulo approaching the same questions?

Speakers

Borgar Dahle

Leads Saga's commercial activities in the Nordics and Mexico and heads its expansion into Latin America, working with Miguel Desentis in Mexico City to build partnerships across the Mexican legal market as a gateway to the wider region.

Knut-Magnar Aanestad

Co-founder and Chief Product Officer at Saga, leading the development of the company's product, drawing on years in key roles across legal organisations and law firm management teams, where he led firms through change, digitalisation and modernisation.

Miguel Desentis

Leads Saga's commercial and product activities in Mexico and Latin America, drawing on experience at Paul Hastings, Creel García-Cuéllar, BlackRock and Ericsson, where he was Senior Counsel for the Americas, as well as leading legal and compliance at the fintechs Higo and Jeeves.

The Smart Buyer's Guide to Legal AI: Choosing, Testing and Making It Stick

Borgar Dahle

Head of Sales, Nordics & Mexico, Saga

Drawing on insights from across the Nordics, Borgar walks through what legal buyers should evaluate, how to design pilots that deliver definitive answers, and the post-signing actions needed to ensure real adoption.
